This is a perosnal project where I collate and display various aspects, theories, and thoughts on women's history.
The objects page, signpointed by the lovely Venus of Willendorf, encompasses material culture and archaeological finds, and what they have to say about women's everyday lives in different historical eras.
People are found with the brilliant Ada Lovelace in the middle. Here you can read biographies about some of my favourite women from history and why I think their lives are so fascinating.
And finally, the stories page will discuss ome of my favourite folklore and myths, their original context, and why they remain popular amongst women in modern times. There will be quite a Greek bias as that is just my tastes, but I am working on expanding it for a more global perspective.
This page will be updated as I go and learn. It may be a slow process, but it is ongoing! I hope you enjoy browsing the site!
